The Use of Existing Hardwired Duress Buttons

We are often asked if you can use existing hardwired panic and duress buttons on our system.  Vigilance Software utilizes Ethernet Based I/O (input and output) Modules that can be wired to physical buttons.  As an example we have a customer that would like to install two buttons in a gymnasium.  One button will be to report a medical need, while the other will report a security threat.  Pressing the duress button will immediately lockdown the facility, send out notifications, and communicate the threat to first responders.  The medical assistance button will report to the on-site nurse, and or report to first responders.  This customer wanted a physical solution for this area as a computer was not located within the vicinity of the gymnasium.  Another problem solved by Vigilance Software.
