Vigilance Software received notification on March 6th, 2020 from Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of ISC West, of the postponement of their International Security Conference and Expo. ISC West expressed their concerns related to the COVID-19 coronavirus. They indicated they have been monitoring the virus along with reports from the public health officials. Ultimately they decided to postpone and reschedule the event for the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas sometime in July. The actual dates have not been set yet, but they expect to announce the dates soon.
ISC West has been a vital business opportunity for many businesses and vendors, along with networking and educational sessions. It provides access to the newest products and technologies in the security technology space. Companies from around the world attend the ISC West Conference and Expo.
Vigilance Software Highlighted At IPVideo Booth For Vape Detector Integration
Vigilance Software was excited to attend ISC West 2020 at the request of IPVideo Corp. They were asked to join them, along with a few other partners of IPVideo Corp at the conference and expo. Vigilance Software worked with IPVideo to integrate its HALO IoT Smart Sensor with the Vigilance Software emergency notification system and mass communication app. The HALO Smart Sensors have become increasingly popular with schools because of their vape detector capability. Having a school alert system, or a business alert system that integrates directly with the vape detectors helps with the ease of management for the vape detectors and gives a more complete alerting system for when the vape detectors are triggered.
Vigilance Software is looking forward to presenting with IPVideo Corp and will plan to reschedule the trip when the new dates are released for the July ISC West Conference and Expo. We must admit, being a company from the Northeast, where it can get rather cold in the wintertime, Las Vegas in March was very appealing.
